Our Customer Service Department provides friendly, courteous & knowledgeable information to the public in person, by telephone, by correspondence, and electronic mail. Homestead Exemption along with many other exemption applications are taken throughout the year in accordance with statutory guidelines.
Our Exemption Department is responsible for the administration of all exemptions–homestead, widow, widower, disability, limited income senior exemption & Veterans exemptions. Our Exemptions staff create & review new applications to confirm eligibility and assist in adding additional exemptions for our taxpayers who qualify. We also have an investigation department that investigates allegations of improper exemptions.
