Now that the filing deadline has passed for the 2009 tax roll, we are busy reviewing the applications and granting or denying the exemptions that were applied for. If you filed an application and were missing any information we will be contacting you so that we may finish processing your application.

Here in the Property Appraiser’s office we are busy collecting sales and property information to efficiently place market values on your property. Our preliminary tax roll is due to the Department of Revenue on July 1, 2009. Until that time, our values are ‘working values’.

Your August TRIM (Truth in Millage) notices should be sent to each property owner in the county.  Read more about TRIM notices in this story.
