Here in the Property Appraiser’s office we are busy collecting sales and property information to efficiently place market values on your property. Our preliminary tax roll is due to the Department of Revenue on July 1. Until that time, our values are "working values".

Please remember to file your Homestead Exemption! The deadline to file is March 1, 2012. You may visit our office or file your application on-line. Just click on the link "Homestead Online". Limited Income Senior Exemption filing is January 2nd until March 1, 2012. If you have an existing Limited Income Senior Exemption, please look for your renewal form in the mail in January.
A TRIM Truth In Millage Notice (TRIM) was mailed to each property owner in the county on August 19th. Please watch for your TRIM Notice to arrive in the mail and contact our office if you have any questions.
In November 2010, Florida voters approved the creation of this exemption. The new exemption will be available to servicemembers who were deployed during the preceding calendar year on active duty outside the continental United States, Alaska or Hawaii in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation New Dawn.

Limited Income Senior Exemption filing is January 3rd until March 1, 2011. If you have an existing Limited Income Senior Exemption, please look for your renewal form in the mail in January.
