Osceola County Property Appraiser Katrina S. Scarborough, CFA, CCF, MCF

As a lifelong Osceola County resident, Ms. Katrina Scarborough has dedicated 39 years of her life to public service. Her accomplishments reiterate her commitment, which has also garnered the respect of the community. Ms. Scarborough has worked in virtually every department of the Osceola County Property Appraiser’s office. She also served as the Chief of Staff for two years before being elected as the first female Osceola County Property Appraiser. Ms. Scarborough was initially elected Property Appraiser in 2008 and re-elected in 2012, 2016, and 2020.

Ms. Scarborough is both a consummate leader in the community and the award-winning Property Appraiser’s office. Her team of 64 employees shares different responsibilities, which primarily include producing the Osceola County Tax Roll. She also donates her time to the community through volunteerism, sponsorships, and serving on various non-profit boards.

Ms. Scarborough is a highly accomplished professional whose hard work and dedication have earned her the following designations: Certified Florida Appraiser (CFA), Certified Cadastralist of Florida (CCF), and Master Cadastralist of Florida (MCF). She is also a member of the International Association of Assessing Officers, the Florida Chapter of the International Association of Assessing Officers, the Property Appraiser’s Association of Florida, and the Florida Association of Cadastral Mappers.

Her involvement in various associations speaks to her passion and her commitment to excellence for the community. Ms. Scarborough is on the Osceola Council on Aging Board of Directors and the Osceola Chamber Foundation Board. She was the Event Chair for the Central Florida Boy Scouts Golden Eagle Dinner in 2021, 2022, and 2023. She has also served as a board member of Community Vision, the Osceola County Historical Society, Christmas for the Kids, and the Kissimmee/Osceola Chamber of Commerce.

When she is not serving the community, she enjoys spending family time with her four sons: Timothy, Chase, Ty, and Caden; her granddaughter Skylar and grandson Cane; her fiancée JJ; and his daughter Victoria.
